This class is a great introduction to creative movement and music for children ages 18 months - 3 yrs. 

 This “multi sensory” approach engages and stimulates the child’s mind and body.  The benefits of this class are endless.  Outcomes of the class include the following:

 
Physical: “traveling, transitions, running, tip toeing, hoping, stretching, balancing, controlling movement, stretching, bending, twisting, turning, shaking and swinging”.
Kinesthetic:  “children are developing an awareness of their body and how it moves through space”
Visual: “Early stages of focusing and concentrating on movements and beginning steps”.
Auditory: “Understanding and developing sensitivity to music through movement”.  Children become familiar with songs and are continually introduced to new music. 
Intrapersonal Skills: Children are “building self confidence and self esteem” during each and every class.  
Interpersonal Skills:  "Children are learning social skills such as sharing props, sharing space and taking turns.  Children are also building friendships and building their communication skills."

 This class is taught by a certified dance teacher, who also holds her certification in Early Childhood Education and is also a certified Elementary School Teacher with Special Education Qualifications.
